Audi A3 2007 - Crash sensor location OS , code P1221 G179 #

Year of Manufacture *: 2007

I have an A3 coming in for a os side airbag crash sensor replacing p1221 G179. can someone point me to its location please. vw are sending the part and say it "appears" to be in the os/r quarter area?

Hi Sean,

It is shown on AD, different positions between 3 and 5 door and two each side

its a 5 door car. got full autodata and never thought of looking in it to be honest. will have a butchers.

Hi Sean
In the front doors and also on the c.pillars, my info shows G179 as a drivers door one.
