Hi Ray Ive done a few of these(and the Micra) Nearly always comes up with- ECU internal error- What fault codes are you getting?? I have had these repaired in the past,with not much joy, the longest one lasted was 6 months. same light,same fault,unhappy customer. I buy them now off my local motor factor- presumably these have been re-conned, but ive had no issues! Just a quick note. It will need resetting with either dedicated Renault diag machine or something like a DEC superscan. you need to do this as soon as ignition switched on, dont drive it untill its configured, MARK

hi thanks for the info having this one repaired do i have to reconfiguer this unit after the repair is it possable to fit second hand ones ray

Hi Yes, you will need to reconfigure the steering angle. Never gone down second hand route.

Immobiliser stored in the module . So If you can noy virginise it, it will not work-the car will not start
