Renault Scenic II 1.6 2004 - Digital dash fault #

Hi

I have a 04 scenic 2 which i had a problem with the digital dash that went blank. i got a second hand one from the breakers yard but the problem is that the new dash has only 13k on it where the car has 60k. is there any software you can get to correct the mileage

If your customer goes to the dealer they will fit a brand new unit £500 worth for a good will gesture of the customer for £120.

I think the car is too old for any goodwill repair by renault on the dash.Why not get the original unit repaired?Plenty of firms out there doing them,then no need to worry about mileage correction.

Hi

on a ten year old Renault why worry about the millage just record old and new mileages in service book and on the invoice.

renault will repair ANY age of this model for the £125 and fit a brand new dash unit. i sent a customer with an 05 one about a month ago, they did the job and she bought me a big crate of beers as a thanks.

Sean is right. Last year I sent a customer with a 53 plate one to be done.

There's an eeprom chip which can be transferred across to the replacement unit.

alternatively, your repair company could deal with it
