Vauxhall Corsa D 1.3 2010 - Socket to fit the front hub? #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 1.3

I'm having trouble finding a socket to fit the front hub nuts on this vehicle.
Wall thickness on standard 36mm sockets won't allow socket to engage with flats on the nut. I've tried Sealey, Elora,King Dick and Snap-on in 1/2 & 3/4 drive.

What does anyone else use?

Cheap socket and good bench grinder is what you need.

Thanks Aidan, It did cross my mind. I think that will have to be the plan. Why do they make them like it?

I had a mate turn down first 20mm of an impact socket,used it loads of times on gun no problems

There is someone who makes them called spx? I will check tomorrow when im at work as we bought one for the corsa d.
