Porsche Boxster 987 2.7 2008 - Roof stopped working #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 2.7

Hi

2008 Boxster roof just stopped working. Wont even drop the windows when unlatched. Ive checked fuse & micro switch all ok.

I could do with a wiring diagram if anyone has one?

I tried rear end control module off another car still no good. I assume the roof works through this as I traced the micro switch wire to it.

Any info on how it works or wiring diagram would be great.

This maybe not applicable to this model/year or even the cause but I was told by porsche mechanic many years ago that the roof wont function on a boxter if the handbrake warning light is inop.

so probably obvious but could've been forgotten or overlooked.

Thanks for reply. Yes I check handbrake light first, all ok.

Could really do with a wiring diagram if anyone has one?

Hi:

Did you get to the bottom of this job as i have one the same - no reaction from the switch, checked switch and microswitch in front latch - all ok.

I can power the roof down and up using the relays but it wont work on its own ?

Any help appreciated or any more wiring info
