Ford Transit Connect 1.8 TDCi 2004 - Fault with new clutch fitted - Fixed #
Posted by Vince Mosley on April 5, 2014, 11:14 am Hi, I have fitted a Borg & Beck clutch to my sons van . It had no clutch due to slave cylinder issue. Having fitted it i now have clutch slip. Replaced master cylinder which has improved things but its still slipping.

If I remember correctly, these may be self-adjusting, and tightening the plate bolts too quickly, can cause the adjustment to fail. (Usually with no clearance, but there is always one)! They're not open on a weekend, but it may be worth speaking to B&B technical: I've just found this TSB regarding CSC's:
