"How do I do this" question - Vauxhall Vectra 2001 - Centre console access #

Year of Manufacture *: 51 plate
( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: Chassis no WOLDJBF3511187905

I need to remove the climate control module.

How does one actually do this???

Lots of fragile looking plastic and very little indication as to how one removes it without breaking it!

I believe it is called the "Face lift" model, if there is a choice in the design, I believe it is the later one.

Sounds like a vectra B.are there 3 circular digital displays?The plastic surround needs to come off first,it is only clipped on but can be a real pain to remove.Use some slim plastic trim tools or a putty knife.

Hi, Finally got round to this one again.

Cover came off and suspect control box successfully removed.

(I only broke some of the retaining clips! How one is meant to be able to remove the trim without breaking the bottom ones I really cannot see!)

However, the fans are still running full blast even with the control module absent!

Is this to be expected or is it indicative of more fundamental issues?

Do you mean the heater blower fan or cooling fan?If you are referring to the heater blower fan,then I would think the fan speed regulator is faulty.Located up the top of the heater box,driver side.I am assuming this is a vectra B model with the blower motor visible under plastic inspection cover,rear of engine bay,below pollen filter.
