Toyota Yaris 1.3 2007 - Semi auto clutch adjust #

A customer of mine has bought a 2007 Yaris 1.3 petrol with semi auto box. Apparently it needs the clutch re calibrating. has anyone around my area got the tool to do this. techstream etc??

To reset the clutch you just slacken the 3 12mm bolts holding the slave cylinder. Push towards the engine by hand and then tighten.

Resetting the gear selection is done via software. We use G-Scan but don't expect wonders from this transmission, it's mediocre on a good day.

hi sean these two articles explain the system and how to do manually
if you were stuck we have gscan but are in Barnsley

I had a very quick look with gscan today and it commed fine but couldnt really make much sense of the options it was giving me. this info really helps. might try the manual way with the slave cylinder first.

Could give it a bash on my techstream Sean but it's loaded on my desktop so you would have to bring it over

I seem to recall the KTS has the basic setting for these as well?
