Ford Focus 1.6 LX 2006 - Radio code - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2006

Hi all

I'm just preparing my sadly deceased brother - in - laws Focus for sale.Reg no LM06HNC.

After a flat battery I tried re-coding the radio with the Keycode that is in the service wallet and it does'nt work.The code says 4941.
I've tried 5 times (lockout after 10 attempts).

I,m now wondering if it had a new radio fitted under warranty and the new code was not supplied.

Can anybody help please?

We need serial number from radio.Starts with an M or V with 6 digits.If you press and hold presets 2 and 6 or 1 and 5,the screen should show the serial #.If not,pull the radio forward and get # from white label.

Thanks Andy,
Holding the presets didn't work - maybe you can only get the serial no this way when its working!

I'll pull the radio when I have time to get the number.

OK Andy ,
the serial number on the unit (Ford single CD KW2000 Type FDB200) says M113110.
Interestingly there is a sticker in the service book that shows a different serial number so I suspect this has been changed.
