Data logging on classics #
Posted by Peter Rainsley on December 11, 2013, 10:49 pm I have several customers hiring classic cars and bikes. For peace of mind they would like to know how hard these vehicles have been driven/ridden. Has anyone any experience of data logging on classics. Obvious parameters to monitor would be throttle, revs and engine temperature, and for up to a week's worth of driving. There are many systems for short track sessions on vehicles with modern electronics. Fitting a throttle pot, accurate CTS and rpm pick up off the coil is not a problem.
