Mercedes R300 3.0d V6 2007 - Intermittent no ignition lights and not starting #

Year of Manufacture *: 2007

Vehicle has stood for a couple of weeks customer returned to start and had no ignition lights and no cranking when key turned. This fault is
intermittent and when started engine can cut out with out warning and not re-start.
Have tried to scan with 3 different tools but no comms.

"Have tried to scan with 3 different tools but no comms." What scanners ? No comms when in non start mode or no comms when started ?

Have used Hella, Launch & Autodiagnose. no comms in either none start or when running.

sound like no comms is down to scanner. check for comms with ezs/eis as you should always have comms with ign off on this module. connect to star or autologic to be sure.

have you tried a spare key??
