Mercedes Benz A class 169 180 CDi 2005 - Wiper fault #

Hello

Got an A class with a long list of faults one of which is when wipers on they stop working when indicating right, they park up but stop until indicator switched off. Left does not effect it! anyone heard of this. our dealer says never sold a multi function stalk which is what i was erring towards. No fault codes as i would expect in all areas relating to wipers etc.

I can't believe that the dealer has never sold a stalk switch.I have changed bucket loads of these for various wiper faults.Remove the airbag and steering wheel and take a look at the wiring where it runs up the stalk shaft.You will probably find a few fractured wires.
