Jaguar S type 2.5 2004 - Brake pedal fault #
Posted by Roy Bryant on August 12, 2013, 9:32 am Switch ignition on , start engine and then brake pedal is being lowered by about 2-3mm which then switches brake lights on. Driving the car like this the brakes are very sharp and car will not change up gears unless pedal is lifted (by your foot). I have tried disconnecting the brake servo pipe from the back of inlet manifold, then started engine(as result engine not like this,understand as air leak)the pedal now does not drop and brake lights not on. It is like the brake servo is sucking pedal down,very strange
