Air line fittings #

Hi

I am using this as I think this best forum to use I am after the company that make air line fittings that are black plastic with a button on the side which is used to release the female connector then press again to disconnect the tool a bit expensive but they don't leak and you don't keep disconnecting the tool by mistake like pcl fittings do ray

Have a look at these Ray, absolutely brilliant, mine get a lot of use outside in all weathers, never leak,they are impossible to accidentally disconnect, little bit expensive but you will never need to replace once fitted.If the link does not work google oetiker swing couplings

Like Ed said the prevost ones are brilliant and they work, but just watch out because there are loads of cheap copies of them floating about. I bought some the other day after having argument with a supplier that the ones they had supplied were wrong and FAKE but he reassured me that I was wrong but 3 weeks later they were hissing like a snake which you don't get with the prevost ones. The only problem with them at £15 per unit changing the workshop over can cost a wee bit (I did all 15 of ours in one go) but on the other hand they are that good we will only probably do it every few years.

On another note someone told me the other day that old type of fitting are now illegal because you now have to dump the air before you can remover the line from the fittings.

Reference Andrew's statement

The Otiker couplings do just that, as you swing the coupling to disconnect the air in the line is dumped before the tool can be disconnected

thats the one I need, had them about 5 years ago never a problem with them never leak never disconnect themselfs. only when you drop the air gun it brakes the male connector thanks again ray
