Had this Kuga on Friday in Lim. AA scanned and came up with faults for DPF high soot and pressure sensor fault. AA advised customer new pressure sensor required. Wanted to do my own scan but customer refused saying all I want is the pressure sensor fitting. We fitted a new sensor and explained that it needed resetting with factory tool. Customer and AA man looked at one another and said show me.

At this time I were loosing interest, but went into service functions and reset the pressure sensor. The AA man noticed the tab for Static Re-gen and asked me to carry this out too. So carried out the re-gen all went well tool came up with re-gen satisfactory.

Cleared faults and they went on there way. Just as we were closing phone rang and it was the AA man saying it's still the same. I said if you want me to do the job you will need to book it in and I will want to do my own scan test and carry out any checks required. He said it won't be the DPF blocked as it did a re-gen successfully.
