Mercedes Benz Sprinter 906 2008 - Codes P2671, P2664, P3050 & P2668 #

Year of Manufacture *: 2008

Hi all

Just struggling again with aftermarket scan tools giving different or vague discriptions.

The correct meaning off p2671 p2664 p3050 p2668
would be off great help or were to find correct meaning of merc fault codes.

Actuator Supply Voltage "B" Circuit High

P2664
B Rocker Arm Actuator Control Circuit High Bank 2

P2668
Fuel Mode Indicator Lamp Control Circuit

I have the above if that helps any.

got same results as you from autodata & autodiagnos but from texa get

p2671 oxgen sensor

p3050 injected quantity

p2668 lamba adaptive at partial load (multiplicative)

thats the problem as to wich diagnosis route i should take. so if any body got merc fault code table would be good to compare?

Hi John, i looked at your code discriptions and they made no sense to me either, however i have checked for you on Mercedes Benz Star and found the following discriptions:

2664 Oxygen sensor = plausibility error

2668 Oxygen sensor = above limit

2671 Injected quantity = above limit/ below limit/ invalid signal

3050 Oxygen sensor = part load above/below limit

Which engine and what year? if you are unsure email me the Vin no: then i can check on the data card

The Oxygen sensor is quite a common failure on this model

If this helps you please post a fix, only i get various different people ringing me up for the "Silver bullet" but they never post a fix. It does take time out of my busy day, so it would be nice to know if the problem in question was fixed and posted on here.

thats what the doctor ordered I think it could oxygen sensor ?

if and when its fix it will be posted thats the hole point off this forum ,or why bother replying.

guess what customer not got no money wait till its a problem to him.they never learn.

Hi John, it will be back shortly when the dpf blocks because it wont regen with that code present
