Year of Manufacture *: 2012
I just wanted to offer some help to anybody that wants to add images/waveforms to their post, but finds it hard.
My new laptop runs windows 7 and has got a feature called 'snipping tool'
It is brilliant you just select the 'snipping tool' and draw a rectangle round anything on the screen (including Picoscope) and it takes a snap shot that you can save to your desktop.
you then simply select the upload image button at the bottom of where you write your post and select the image you have saved and Job done.
You can also open the image in 'Paint' and add dialogue to your image before you upload it.
It works the same as the 'snipping tool' but is actually better. It has got alot more funky features than the snipping tool.
I only downloaded it to see if it worked before I mentioned it to you guys, although after a play, I like it and I think I will be using this instead.
Just to note... I am no computer expert, so if you are cautious of the download then DONT download it. I do not want to be held responsible for any problems.
All I know is Norton 360 gave the thumbs up, my laptop still works fine and runs just has fast.
So,
Click on the link press DOWNLOAD answer a couple of questions then the Wizard will do the install
It only takes a couple of minutes.
Once it is installed you can press the 'prntscr'(print screen) button on your laptop at any time and draw around the section of the screen being displayed and instantly save the image ready for uploading to your post.
Once you have pressed the 'prntscr' (print screen) button, notice the image of the 3 mouses at the right of the screen and the 3 different ways you can draw around the image you want to save.
In the link it states it is compatible with: Windows XP Vista Windows 7
I hope this will help.

Well done James,
Just downloaded this and it looks really easy to use, I have struggled with converting captures into an acceptable format.
I have some captures from a Renault Megane to upload so I will have a play with it, maybe add some text, watch this space.
