Year of Manufacture *: 1993 ( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 4.0
HI
This car essentially has no faults [before I looked at it!]
The SRS light was out and I was requested by the certifying engineer [here in New Zealand] to remove the drivers airbag, induce a fault code, check the airbag for damage, ie rust, water ect, and then replace.
After I had replaced the airbag I could not clear the code
DTC 14 drivers squib
I have checked the wiring from the airbag back to the SRS ECU and there is not a wiring fault.
I have tried to delete the code using the Hanatech P1 and the older modle of Hanatech as well. I borrowed a Launch and that would not even communicate with it.
There is a way of bridging terminals for code 41, and I have tried that with no success.
I have also tried removing the battery terminals and joining them with the ign on.
Can anyone help with this as I am going round and round!
Regards
Simon

Did you try a resistor in the plug, see if light goes out ?
