VW Passat BKC 2006 - Electronic steering and ABS controller not coded - Fixed #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: BKC baseline 3C 5speed /205/55/16

Hi Lads

We have a passat in for electronic steering fault + abs conrol unit not coded. We got E.S.C. unit on the bottom of the steering column repaired so we would not have to get new ESC. Unit coded into immibolizer in main dealer only?, but we lost code for ABS contol unit i was woundering would any of you have a code for abs unit for this year/model the code may read like 13936

Any thoughts will be appricated

Hi Roy

I put in the code 0013569 and coded in ABS unit test drive car ok no faults, then locked car then 30seconds later unlocked and system shut down, ignition would not turn on no communications with any control units. Took it to VW dealer and they fitted new steering control unit and re-coded all units cars fixed now. VW will not give security key code to anyone they have to go online from their workshop.when i went to code abs unit with vag-com and code came up 001000 i should have phoned vagcom support for help as their is a tread about this already.

Just for future ref Con, Autologic can do the security coding/programming no problem if there is anyone near you with one.
