Audi A4 1.9TDi 2004 - Wipers not working #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 1.9 tdi

Hi

Customer came in with wipers not working. We have already freed off both spindles over the last few months as they were seized up. This time headlights or dims plus horn are not working. Fuses relating to all of these are not recieving positive at fuse box.

Any ideas

Hi Liam
Had something similar recently on a golf.
Turned out to be one of the main feeds from the ign switch had burned out. Think it had knocked out the heater blower and indicators as well as the wipers and lights.
If you have a diagram it should you how these components are fed.

I would need chassis number. Most of these get power from J519 power supply control unit. That its self has to be powered up. Bit more info I may be able to help.

Thanks for help,lads.Problem was in body control module situateed at back of main fuse box.When i took it out i found one of the small pin connections broken and a few more corroded .I got second hand one and fitted and all worked well again.Think new one from main dealer is over 300 euro . Picked up sh one for 100.Time given looking for problem is a pain.Hope this helps someone in the future.
