Hi

We had this vw in with a fault with ignition barrel.not able to put key in. We've had a new barrel made by vw, we stripped out lock assembly and was able to remove barrel from lock assy bysliding a pin down small hole in the end but we cannot seem to fit the new barrel in. We are unable to turn steering lock mechanism with a screw driver as i think we should.does any one know a procedure for doing this.
