Jaguar XJ Sovereign 3.2 1991 - ABS fault - Fixed #

hi folks, got a xj6 sovereign 3.2 with abs light on, can anyone tell me how to access the trouble codes i believe you have to bridge a connector in the boot to get fault codes but there are quite a few spare connectors all different colours. the system is ate. i would welcome any help please.

That's the correct info, the connector on the ariel side of the boot.

There are two round connectors in that area a small black round one and a big round yellow one[ If memory serves me right] Its the yellow one but check the wire colours.

I have a training book at work with the fault codes in it. I will try to find it for you tomorrow.

yellow could be brown

Hi All

Many thanks for all the help, managed to retrieve 2 flash codes one for abs sensor fault and one for shuttle vave fault, fitted s/h abs senor and s/h master cylinder and valve unit complete and all abs lights go out and everything works good. thanks again andy..
