Mercedes Benz C180 kompressor 1.8 2003 - Indicator switch replacement - Fixed #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 1.8

Indicator switch will not stay up when you indicate right. Probably needs new switch. I have taken off airbag and steering wheel.Loosened 3 screws around airbag spring unit and also loosened srew going up through switch surround. Is there anything else i need to do to take off spring unit and surround to get switch off. I dont want to put any force on this unit as i know it would be expensive to replace?

You are almost there.The switch and cowling both slide off together.Just watch the connector blocks/pins.hth

Thanks andrew.the airbag spring unit clippes onto steering column when you slide it over the shaft.Tricky to push back the 2 plastic pieces to allow you to slide over shaft when taking out.Got it off and easy enough to fit after this.
