Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Auto - Need Wiring Diagrams Please #

Hi Guys - can anyone help me here please? I need a wiring diagram for the 2002 new shape RR Vogue as above to show the wiring between the Low Range switch by the gear selector (the one on the right) and any other components it connects to. I have one of these in the workshop, and operating the switch does not appear to operate the transfer box low range selector. It has already had a new transfer box motor and the switch assembly elsewhere. I can select neutral in the trnasfer box by inserting fuse 37 as per the workshop manual, so the change over motor is working, however the workshop manual does not have any detailed wiring diagrams in it, so can anyone help here please?

Hello Roger & Dave,
The info that you have posted Dave is for the P38 not the L322. The L322 doesn't have a becm under the seat.
Have you tried adaption of the transfer box Roger?

Dave, Andrew - thanks for your responses, although I still could not find the data I needed, so I took the the bull by the horns and went to our local Land Rover main dealer, who were extremely helpful, and provided me with the diagrams I was searching for. I am still struggling to solve the problem, but have now eliminated a number of possible causes so narrowing down the field significantly. If any of you out there are expert on the transfer box electrical operation on these models I would be glad to hear from you, as I am coming to the conclusion that the cause of the problem is a can bus issue!!

Hello Roger,
What scan/diagnostic tool sre you using & do you have any fault codes? Have you tried running the transfer box ecu calibration?

Hi Andrew - I have the snapon solus pro, and Launch X431, and an older autodiagnose. Both go in to the transfer box however I cant see where to carry out the calibration procedure. There are no fault codes. Looking at the range change activation switch circuit, this puts to earth an output from the main gearbox ecu, which then presumably requests the transfer box to activate the range change. At the moment the only way I can get this to activate, is to insert a fuse into location 37 on the fuse box, which moves the transfer box in to neutral, and the range change light on the dashboard flashes. This is at it should as per the workshop manual, however under no circumstances can i get the range to change using the switch on the center console.
