Toyota Celica 190 2.0 VVTLi 2002 - Excessively noisy tappets - Fixed #
Posted by Mark Pilmer on March 15, 2012, 7:29 pm We have a Celica 190 vvt that has excessivly noisey tappets, or sounds like it(nothings been stripped yet)it has had oil and filter changed with quality synthetic of the correct grade a 1000 miles ago. Have found that these engines do have lots of faults with chains and tappets, has anyone changed any and what are they like to do (would you do another!!!).
