Found it ! Thanks Andy.
Remove clutch pedal and there is a tiny hole right up where you can barely see it

Aren't they fun!!!! I've done a few now and I'm getting quicker at them, but the first one must have taken me over an hour. With loads of "There's GOT to be a easier way than this".

It makes me wonder how many are not going to get changed on service when they realize it not a 5 min job and clutch pedal has got to come out. Every time I ring Renault I mean to ask about the little white clip that holds the pedal to the master cylinder it looks really brittle.
