Vauxhall Vivaro 2.0 CDTi 2008 - Removing injectors #

Hi again. Another problem today. I have a fault with to injectors and I am having difficulty in removing them. I have tried leaving them with penetrating fluid in and been told to put coke around them, but I still can not remove them. We have tried to slide hammer one out but not really getting enough leverage. Any ideas would be very gratefully.

Hi

I don't know what your fault is but we have a customer with a fleet of these and we are forever replacing the injector seals, experience as shown us however that it is often the threads in the head for the clamp bolts that strip not the copper washer and we end up drilling and tappin for larger bolts!?! Just a word of warning incase that's your problem lol

Hi Mike

As Carl said give A P Autodiagnostics a ring 07799108594

and we can discuss your problem !!!

These injectors commonly require extreme forces to remove them, if you use the dealer tool, sykes tool or similar and these are tight you will only tear off the threads

The only tool i would recomend is the Pichler hydraulic tool which we have now removed Approx 2500 injectors with on this engine alone almost 6000 in total !!

we are mobile and cover the whole of the uk and have even worked in france !!

slide hammers and coke etc are a waste of time, soaking for days on end has little effect if any

the injectors regularly break in one of several ways when removing them but we can usually deal with this no problem

so give me a call and i'll try and help it will only cost you the call charge !!
