Any - PAS fluid flush and change, what fluid? #

I am toying with the idea of making a "Flushing bench" for PAS systems. But what would be a suitable fluid for doing the actual flushing? PAS fluid is rather expensive for something that is just going to get thrown away.

What less expensive alternatives might be suitable?

I don't know how much this is but have a look at the link. They used to do a full flushing/oil change kit consisting of a machine, flushing fluid and new oil.

We use the Wynns kit - works well.
