Had a BMW e90 or e93.

Problem with xenon headlight blown, The customer changed the ballast box himself, Looked on the net or something???

He wanted me to clear the code that the headlight box had logged. It will clear but come straight back.

I can power up the headlight with actuator test on the KTS, So I know the bulb is ok. and so is the ballast.

My question is does the new ballast need to be programmed to the car? Or am i missing something?

The fault with the ballast was water ingress so the customer says.
