Citroen Xsara Picasso 2003 - Loss of wipers #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: DW10TD 2.0

Hi all

I have a Citroen Xsara Picasso in the work shop with loss of wipers. I have checked it with my Bosch KTS system, and it shows that the wiper switch assembly is working. We have disconected the motor and powered it up, that to is working. All fuses are ok. Is there a moduel in this system, if so were abouts to is it located.

I would start looking at the BSI if I were you.

Mike, Mark means to look at the BSI with your scanner! Fault codes and live data and some scanners will actuate components. The last one I had to remove was located to the left of the steering column, high up behind the dashboard. Good Luck! Gwyn

Hi

I have checked it with diagnostics, and I can make the wiper switch actuate and show to be giving correct operation. But it does not have actuation on wiper operation itself.

BSI and wiring faults are not uncommon on picasso wipers.
Please give more detailed post on what is happening at BSI (includeing output signals)
