Hello All

I was asked to disable the passenger airbag on the above vehicle

When following the IDS Programing function for disabling the airbag i get the confirmation that programing the parameter was successful but then i have a perm and history code B1871 unlike the screen shot below showing history only as i reset back to original configuration


The first screen shows the option below
If i select not equipped nothing happens




If i select equipped then the DTC Below is set



Is this code usual when the airbag is disabled?
