Hi, srs lamp on with code 9025 component 48 n/s f seat occupied and child seat recognition faulty. All I have done is check connections under seat and no joy. The system is ARMADA/ 171820562E bosch diagnostic version 4/05 and hardware version 11/06. Any ideas what to check . Is there a switch pad in seat? May be easier to send to dealers but would like to see if I can help customer.

on older mercs this is down to the passenger seat getting wet, usually by valeting. the sensor is for recognizing a genuine mercedes child seat and automatically turning the passenger airbags off. i don't know if the newer ones are the same though.
