VW Polo AZQ 2003 - New timing chain fitted, now sometimes non start #
Posted by Peter Igo on September 2, 2011, 6:39 pm Following a jumped timing chain we have carried the fitting of the VW kit. We were then left with a none start which turned out to be the coils going down. The car now starts apart from when cold, when sometimes it does not start. When not starting it does have fuel & a good crank signal, if left for 10 mins it will then start! We have replaced coolant temp sensor, oil pressure switch & crank sensor. we have also removed the sump to check the oil pick up. There are no fault codes in the ECU.
