Hyundai Trajet 2.0 Petrol 2003 - Immobiliser fault / Melco system #
Posted by Keith Simpson on August 4, 2011, 7:17 pm Hi Guys I have been asked to look at this vehicle for intermittent none start, when the fault is current the Immo light will stay on hence no start. It might be a few hours or days later when it will start. After driving about 20 miles, turn ignition off and the immo light is on solid again. I have checked the transponder in the key and coil and all is ok. Code read with High Scan Pro and get (06 Ecm Communication Error) this will not clear when in none start but will clear when it will start. Same code returns when fault shows it's ugly head. I am trying to trace where the immo box is but come to a full stop as wiring disappears into the loom. Autodata says under centre dash but cannot find anything, unless it's dash out job. I am struggling to get any info a wiring diagram and just wondered if anyone could help.
