THis car had the inlet manifolds removed and gaskets replaced.
When the vehicle was started up the ABS light was on.
Codes logged
83 Transversal - accelaration sensor [plausibility] This code is logged twice, when you delete this code another code appears, 81 Pressure sensor [wire offset] This code does not delete.
On live readings the pressure shows 286 bar. If I disconnect the pressure sensor the pressure on live readings on changes to about 291 bar.
If I run the pump manualy the pressure voltage does not change.
It seems that the pressure sensor is a fault, however, I dont see how the work on the inlet manifold could have caused this.
I cheched the lives and earths on the ABS/DSC ECU all good.
Has anyone had experience on these pressurised systems?
Hi Simon Everything pointing to your pressure sensor being open circuit, Should have a 5v supply t2,earth t1 and varying voltage t3 when pedal depressed. Ed Kaps
Thanks for the info. However, I am still having issues with this car.
The garage replaced the pressure sensor after no pressure difference was seeking live readings. but it was still the same.
When I tested the supply voltage to the sensor there was 0v. Continuity to ECU is OK on all 3 wires. I rechecked the ECU lives and earths and they were all OK .
I now suspected the ECU, a replacement was sourced but when fitted we still get the same codes plus 1 additional code 40 unknown.
Any help would be great before my ever greying hair is torn out!
