Customer complaining the rear heated window switch and air con switch on the top of dach lights are stopping on all the time when ignition is on and they wont go out? I am not 100% these were on when i drove it to the garage but my mechanic says they were on when he MOT'd it.
My mechanic, serviced this car with no probs but left lights on and flattened the battery, he tried to start with the booster pack but i think this pack is faulty as its played up a few times and didnt work so he took the battery off and charged it on the bench.
now the customer is saying weve caused the fault and it may be the ECU?, but my mechanic says the switches are faulty? and i dont know my next move, can anyone advise please as this person isnt going to go away

What diagnostic tests have been carried out with regard to the faults?

The fault has now rectified itself thanks, apparently the ecu takes upto 24hrs after disconnecting the battery to reset itself the customer told me so alls good now?
