Does anyone know of any good source for steering parts, or catalogue, where track rod details are listed? I am looking to try and match a track rod to length, thread size etc.

I have a Lotus Elise here that needs a track rod. Lotus only supply a complete rack. I can get parts for the earlier rack (up to 2004) but nothing seems to be listed for the 2004 onwards. Its possible the track rod could be fitted to another vehicle. I don't feel like spending £375 plus shipping to replace a simple ball joint.

I would be happy enough to find one which matches on the inner joint thread size as long as the rod is bigger or longer so I can turn it down and thread it to suit the T/R end.
