Landrover Discovery TD5 2002 - ACE pipes replacement #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: td5

I have just fitted all 6 pieces of the front suspension ACE pipes and wondered what would be a reasonable time to charge for labour

Hi Mark I quoted and charged 8 hours but done it in about 6, a local landrover specialist quoted 12 hours @£55.00 as they reckon it takes that long!!Guess the customer got a bargain

Hi

Did your 6 hrs include correct bleed procedure? that can be time consuming on old vehicles if linkage bolts are seized.

Hi Aidan sorry for delay in replying had a day of yesterday at workshop show at nec. yes it has been bled properly and the function test was ok checking with autologic
