Citroen C3 - ABS sensor ring #

Year of Manufacture *: 2006
( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 1.4 diesel

ABS pick up in rear brake drum has rusted away. Component seems to be made of thin steel with the magnetic sensor bonded to it. It is removal and replaceable.
Question is, is it available separately from the brake drum or do we have to replace the entire thing? Be grateful for any help, Regards, Gwyn

Hi Mark, no sense out of their parts man, could not seem to get him to understand what I wanted. I just wondered whether anyone else had managed to replace just the magnetic ring and if so , where from.

Craig, phoned your friend, George. Very helpful, but could not supply at the moment. Really nice guy, rang me back twice to see how I got on. He referred me to the German EBay site, where they had the abs rings for sale at 38 euros. My customer had called into another dealership, where the parts man told him that the ring came with the wheel bearing. Customer said OK, I will buy the wheel bearing just to get the ring. When they looked on the parts list, the ABS ring was listed as a separate item, complete with part number and price! £8.38! Great result! Should have gone there first!
