Opel Zafira 2001 1.8 2001 - Vehicle goes into limp #

Hi

Car seems to go into limp mode 10 seconds after you start it. When it is started you can rev it out but quickly goes back and will not rev over 1000rpm. When you switch off and start it again you can rev it up for a short time again. Car is automatic, code read on diagnostics and it says oxygen sensor integrator

Any ideas?

hi liam
possibly blocked exhaust or blocked fuel filter but which code number do you have from which diagnostic tester?

colin,thanks for help. read on texa 2000 box and it gave no code number ,just says lambda sensor integrator everytime.will check out cat and see if it is blocked.will also check fuel filter for blockage. will let you know how i get on.

May be worth reading under EOBD and Double check there are no other Engine systems listed, incorrect system will miss codes or give wrong codes
