Put this on a closed forum so Joe public can't see it, If anyone is not on this scheme contact your local Ford dealer and get subscribed !

Discounts range from 40% to 60% on general service items, Ford are trying to oust the factors as are many other manufacturers,ie VAG(TPS) and Vauxhall.

Contact your Ford rep now !

This has been running for about 15-20 years. We used to get service bulletins and so forth. Nothing for some time now.

I'm not certain it's necessarily a good thing if the factors get ousted. Granted, some parts are better OE.
We all have to take businesslike decisions but lose the factors and the dealers will have independents at their mercy. Some have already shown that they can pull some fairly underhand stunts and misleading 'advertising'

'Trade Club' outlets can be dreadful to deal with when it comes to warranty claims.

Pete, no subscription, you must have a minimum monthly spend of £300,

Tom, you are talking about "Parts plus", I was in that, the Blue oval club has only just started and is replacing Parts plus, it is a totally different trade club, give your Ford rep a ring

a couple of examples

transit connect 1.8 diesel alternator, trade £133, retail £241, headlamp trade £92 retail £154,clutch kit trade £112 retail £204 !

We exceed the minimum £300 monthly spend and we've been told we're going to be removed from the scheme because we don't spend enough !!!

As one of the first to joint Blue oval partners, we have made a few claims, ALL paid out inc. a good labour rate.

and very quickly (less than two weeks)

Hi Dave , i have never had any conversation with my dealer about minimum spend and have been in it for over a year , possibly 2 ..forgot how long .
I also don't know anyone dealing with my ford supplier being told about minimum spend .

I think if they did put pressure on then i would purchase else where
