Mercedes Benz CLK Auto 1999 - Location of reverse light switch #

Year of Manufacture *: 1999

Could someone point out location of reverse light switch on mercedes 240 clk automatic 1999 model.

I think you will find it on the shift selector mechanism on top of trans tunnel,under console panel.2 grey wires(if my memory is correct).

thanks andy,i found out through friend working in merc garage that problem is usually in light swith on right hand side of dash.reverse light power goes through fuse box attached to switch.fuse no 12 is relevant fuse.he says they have to change light switches regularly with this fault.moved around and cleaned fuse and reverse lights worked.fault is in fusebox on switch and i will probably have to change it soon.
