Mitsubishi L200 2.5 TD 2005 - Sump removal #

Year of Manufacture *: 2005
( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 2.5 TD

As above. Anybody removed the sump on one of these. Is it possible in situ?

Any helpful hints??

Hello Paul,
I have not done one on an L200, But have on a 2.5 TD (4D56 engine) Shoguns of similar year and after removal of sump guard the job is straight forward but some are very well bonded to block so take care not to distort sump

.

Hi Paul

Seem to remember that there has been a previous post on this, got a funny feeling the engine has to be removed as there are some bolts in bellhousing, could be wrong though, good luck

I did try to do an archive search but found nothing.

(Even if the information is there I never seem to be able to select the correct cabailstic combination of keywords to get the archive to divilge its arcane knowledge

)

If anybody does have a suitable link to any relevent archived information I would be gratefull for it.
