BMW X5 Diesel 2003 - Will not crank #

Year of Manufacture *: 2003

seems like a flat battery but isn`t
will not crank but intermiantly starter trigger wire becomes live but only for a second and then nothing any ideas

Volt drops tests? fault codes ? live data ?

Hi
last time i had it on a x5 petrol , fitted new battery and it sorted it , the voltage drops to low when trying to crank
