Mazda rx-8 1.3 2003 - Procedure to re-sync remotes #

does anybody know any manula procedure to synchro central locking remotes? Customer come in with non work remote -changed the battery but don't know how to proceed the synchronisation.

Hello Poitr, try this:

Open drivers door

Lock and unlock driver door using power lock switch.

Insert key into ignition

Turn ignition ON and OFF 3 times within 10 seconds and leave key in the ignition.

Close and open drivers door 3 times leaving it open.

Locks should cycle then

Press any button on remotes to be coded the car should lock and unlock.

Remove key to close programming session.
