Toyota Landcruser 3.0 TD 1993 - Diesel contaminating the engine oil - Fixed #

( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 3ltr turbo diesel

Hi

Diesel is contaminating the engine oil while engine is running from max on the dip stick to half way up the dip stick in 5 miles

There is no lift pump on the engine

There is no oil feed to the pump as it is a rotary pump not a in-line pump

There is no cold start injector in the inlet manifold

I have already had new nozzles in all injectors

I am completely baffled by this never seen anything like it in 14 years

Please if anyone has got any ideas I am pulling my hair out

Is the pump chain, gear or belt drive ?

Hello Adam , could the return to the tank or spill pipes from the injectors be on the wrong pipes and somehow getting in the block , have seen a injector spill pipe connected to a vaccum source and the brakes vaccum pump was sucking the diesel into the engine .
Just some thoughts

all spill pipes are correct not to vac pipes
having spoken more in depth with the customer to dat he has told me that the car is a 1998 not a 93 as first thought i have read about a diesel spill control valve relay could this be over preasureing the system in some way

FIXED fault was the puel pump when removed had chain drive behind cam belt sproket to crank shaft desel was pouring out of the shaft seal into the sump cheap fix diesel man charged 100 to re seal the pump and 3 hours to strip and put back together
