Ford Galaxy 1.9 TD 2002 - ABS light on #
Posted by Paul Neasham on February 25, 2010, 7:05 pm car dealer has brought us a galaxy 1.9 td with the abs light illuminating intermittently. The fault code when read with vag com tells us the abs is losing its coding. Have checked and input the orignal code displayed by vag com and another one researched through ross tech both of which are accepted by the ecu. Thinking job is sorted after a road test and light is still out only to be disillusioned after half a dozen starts or so light stays on. Have checked supplies and earths ok but dont understand how something can "lose its coding" would that not happen every time the battery was disconnected if it was a supply problem
