This vehicle has the instument cluster in the centre of the dash under the screen. The odometer gained about 30,000 miles during one short journey and has stopped counting the miles, although the speedo works ok. Somebody has looked at it and has condemned the cluster but the quote to fit a new one was too much for the owner.
If I can obtain a second hand cluster, does anyone know if they are coded and also will the mileage have to be reprogrammed?
May try to disconnect the battery for half hour later on
