Hi, have this Peugeot 306 in which has a key pad immobilizer and i have replaced the ECU with an exchange unit.
before i sent the original ECU off for testing i put immobilizer in service mode.On fitting the exchange ECU, the instructions say disconnect key pad, connect ECU and start vehicle, (vehicle will switch off and start fine) then says follow instruction as handbook, which says press 1111 and then c, as soon as i press 1111 the key pad bleeps as if i have entered wrong code then vehicle will not start. sent back ECU to be unlocked thinking i have done something wrong, and the same thing has happened. contacted supplier went through procedure and they said must be something wrong with ECU, so they sent me another one, and the same thing has happened. if i leave key pad disconnected vehicle will start no problems, but customer wants the immobilizer. has any one changed ECU before on one of these.
    Regards Darren
