cheers lads, finally got round to it today, just cleared snow away from doors and didnt fancy pushing it in. checked timing, a mile out , so fitted a new belt and hey presto , runs as sweet as a nut. spoke to customer , now he says that his mate had altered pump timing to try and get rid of lack of power and smoke on start up , which was down to fuel temp sensor, so his bill has just gone up cos he originally told me nobody had touched it. once again cheers
